EV Realty has opened a multi-fleet truck charging hub in San Bernardino with 76 high-power charging ports and 9 MW of capacity, designed to serve more than 200 medium- and heavy-duty trucks per day.
The site supports both CCS charging ports and MCS charging ports for next-generation trucks.
The site operates on a shared infrastructure model serving multiple fleets. Customers include J.B. Hunt Transport, Gate City Beverage (part of Harbor Distributing, a Reyes Holdings company), and Nevoya.
The facility is located near the San Bernardino Intermodal Facility and more than 60 million square feet of nearby industrial warehouses, in a region with about 17,000 medium- and heavy-duty trucks. It is also located near Interstates 10 and 215, a key freight corridor connecting to the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.

The multi-fleet charging site provides scalable infrastructure to serve growing demand for medium- and heavy-duty electric trucks.

Charging Technology and Operations
The site uses charging hardware from Kempower, providing up to 1.2 MW for MCS and 500 kW for CCS charging. The system includes spring-assisted cables.
Software and fleet management tools from Synop support power management, reservations, reporting, and fleet analytics related to cost, range, and efficiency.
Operations include 24/7 on-site staff, security, parking, and driver amenities.
Development and Expansion
The site opened following a groundbreaking in mid-2025. Construction timelines were supported by available grid power from Southern California Edison and project partners, including ParWest.
Funding support included grants from the South Coast Air Quality Management District’s Carl Moyer Program and the California Energy Commission’s EnergIIZE Commercial Vehicles Project.
The San Bernardino site is part of EV Realty’s expansion, which includes $75 million in growth equity from NGP, additional investment from Outpost, and the acquisition of assets to support future development.
