ChargePoint, Optimus Expand Fast-Charging Network Across Southeastern U.S.
ChargePoint will serve as the exclusive solutions provider, delivering hardware, software, and services to support Optimus’ growing charging network.

EV chargers will be installed in high-demand markets, with many sites planned at quick-service restaurants and retail centers.
Charged Fleet
ChargePoint and Optimus Energy Solutions plan to expand their public fast-charging network across the southeastern United States by deploying more than 200 additional charging ports, the companies announced July 6.
Under the expanded partnership, ChargePoint will provide charging hardware, software and related services, while Optimus Energy Solutions will own and operate the charging sites.
The companies said the new charging locations will primarily be installed in high-demand markets, with many sites planned at quick-service restaurants and retail centers.
The expansion is intended to increase the availability of public fast charging in the region and help address gaps in charging infrastructure as electric vehicle adoption grows.
ChargePoint CEO Rick Wilmer said the agreement builds on the companies' existing relationship to expand charging access. Optimus Energy Solutions President Ben Pauluhn said the partnership supports the company's efforts to grow its charging network and meet increasing demand for fast charging.
For fleet operators, the additional charging ports are expected to expand public charging options for electric vehicles operating throughout the southeastern United States, particularly along retail and travel corridors.
