Arnold Clark Charge has opened six public ultra-rapid EV chargers at its Huddersfield location in the U.K., expanding the charging network to 63 sites.

Located at the company’s Motorstore on Leeds Road, the chargers are available to all EV drivers, including local users and drivers traveling through the region.

Charging at the Huddersfield site is priced at 55 pence per kWh. Drivers can pay through the Arnold Clark app, participating roaming providers or contactless payment at the chargers.

Arnold Clark Expands Public Charging Network

The Huddersfield installation is part of Arnold Clark Charge’s continued expansion across the U.K. The company is adding charging infrastructure at locations intended to serve both local and longer-distance EV travel.

“The opening of our new ultra-rapid chargers in Huddersfield is another important step in expanding Arnold Clark Charge across the UK,” said Pablo Levi, group sustainability manager at Arnold Clark.

“We want to make EV charging as simple, affordable and accessible as possible, whether customers are travelling locally or on longer journeys,” Levi added.

Arnold Clark Charge was also named the Up-and-Coming Rapid/Ultra-Rapid EV Charging Network at the Zapmap 2025 Awards.
