Stellantis Gains EV Charging Access Through Tesla Network

The availability of 28,000 Tesla Superchargers will expand charging options for models like the upcoming all-electric Jeep Recon.

The all-electric 2026 Jeep Recon is among the Stellantis models that will use the Tesla Supercharger network beginning in 2026, as the company adopts the North American Charging System across key markets.

Stellantis will adopt the North American Charging System (NACS) for select battery-electric vehicles in North America, Japan, and South Korea, expanding access to more than 28,000 Tesla Superchargers across five countries.

Compatible Stellantis EVs in North America will gain access starting in early 2026, with Japan and South Korea to follow in 2027.

The move will provide drivers with far broader fast-charging availability and support long-distance travel across key markets.

Supercharger Access Begins in 2026

Access to the Tesla network will begin in 2026 for existing Stellantis EVs, including the Jeep Wagoneer S and Dodge Charger Daytona. The all-electric 2026 Jeep Recon and future models will also be Supercharger-enabled. Additional details on adapter requirements and compatibility for current vehicles will be announced later.

Stellantis said the initiative supports its strategy to give customers greater flexibility in charging options. Expanding access to fast-charging infrastructure is intended to offer “more choice, more coverage, and more control” over how and where drivers power their EVs.
