VinFast Receives First Corporate Fleet Order in U.S.

The Vietnamese automaker has received an order of 100 EVs from Artemis DNA, a diagnostic laboratory that plans to convert its entire fleet to EVs.

Customers in the U.S. can make a reservation by paying $200 to receive a $3,000 e-voucher toward the potential purchase of VF 8 or a $5,000 e-voucher toward the potential purchase of a VF 9.

VinFast, the Vietnamese automaker looking to launch all-electric models in the U.S., announced its first reservations by a U.S. corporate fleet during VinFast Global EV Day at CES 2022. The reservations for 100 VinFast EV models were made by Artemis DNA, a clinical diagnostic laboratory providing genetic and diagnostic testing.

VinFast said it anticipates completing its first deliveries of VinFast models VF 8 and VF 9 models in the fourth quarter of 2022.It is anticipated that Artemis DNA will take delivery of the VinFast EVs starting in the fourth quarter of this year.

In a statement, Artemis DNA said it has plans to convert its entire fleet to EVs in a continued effort by Artemis DNA to reduce the carbon footprint of its operations.

"It is with the help of innovative companies like VinFast that we are able to continue our work transforming healthcare around the world while still being a good corporate citizen," said Artemis DNA founder and CEO, Emylee Thai in the statement. "Artemis DNA is committed to maintaining our status as an exemplary leader in the diagnostics and healthcare industry."

VinFast VF 8 pricing starts at $41,000 in the U.S. VinFast VF 9 pricing starts at $56,000.
