NIO Inc., a leading manufacturer of smart electric vehicles headquartered in Shanghai, China, has appointed Yu Long as new independent to the company’s director of directors. Long will also serve as member and chairperson of the board’s nominating and corporate governance committee.
Founding and managing partner of BAI Capital, Long is also a member of Bertelsmann Group Management Committee and the governor of China Venture Capital and Private Equity Association Limited. Formerly, Long was the chief executive officer of Bertelsmann China Corporate Center and the managing partner of Bertelsmann Asia Investments.
