All-Electric Cadillac Escalade Coming By 2025
Fans of the V-8–powered SUV shouldn't fear, because the EV version will be sold alongside the gas model.

The full-size SUV will be built on GM's new electric architecture and use its new Ultium battery technology. That architecture allows for battery packs as large as 200.0-kWh, which is twice the energy capacity of the largest pack offered in the longest-range Tesla Model X. Sharing hardware with the upcoming GMC Hummer EV SUT pickup and SUV, the Escalade could make as much as 1000 hp using a three-motor setup driving both the front and rear axles.
