Mercedes eVito All-Electric Van to Start at $52k in UK
The eVito, with 519-599 lbs. of cargo volume, offers a 92-mile average range. The eSprinter panel van is due later in 2020.

The vehicles are eligible for a U.K. grant from the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV), which offers a 20% reduction on the vehicle purchase price, up to a maximum of £8,000 ($10,439).

In the U.K., the Mercedes-Benz eVito all-electric van will be priced from 39,895 pounds ($52,073, not including tax) for the eVito Van PURE L2, and 40,415 pounds ($52,752 without tax) for the eVito Van Pure L3.
The vehicles are eligible for a U.K. grant from the Office for Low Emission Vehicles, which offers a 20% reduction on the vehicle purchase price, up to a maximum of 8,000 pounds ($10,439).
Available in two lengths, the eVito offers 85 (70) kW of power, 300 Nm of torque, a 92-mile average range and a six-hour charging time, based on three-phase charging, Mercedes reports
The dimensions for the Vito, not available in the U.S., fit between the Mercedes-Benz Metris and Sprinter vans.
The L2 model has 6.0 m3 (519 cu. ft.) cargo volume, 2,277 kg (5,020 lbs.) curb weight, 3,200 kg (7,055 lbs.) GVW, and a payload of 923 kg (2,035 lbs.). The L3 offers 6.6 m3 (599 lbs.) cargo volume, 2,302 kg (5,075 lbs.) curb weight, 3,200 kg (7,055 lbs.) GVW, and a payload of 898 kg (1,980 lbs).
According to Mercedes, eDrive Vans forms a key part of the Mercedes-Benz Vans global advance initiative, with the brand committed to offering battery electric vehicles alongside conventional fuel types across the entire product range, starting with the eVito, and continuing with the eSprinter panel van later in 2020.
For U.K. fleets, the eVito is available to order from the nationwide Mercedes-Benz Vans dealer network from today.
