Lucid has introduced the Gravity Touring, a lower-priced addition to its electric SUV lineup starting at $79,900. Orders are open now, with select configurations available for immediate delivery.
“The Gravity Touring opens the Lucid brand to a broader SUV audience,” said Marc Winterhoff, interim CEO. “Its mix of range, space, and performance stands out in the segment.”
Built on the same platform as the Gravity Grand Touring, the Touring model uses Lucid’s compact powertrain design to offer full-size SUV utility within a mid-size footprint. It seats up to seven and provides up to 120 cubic feet of cargo space in its five-seat configuration.
The Touring uses an 89-kWh battery pack and delivers an EPA-estimated 337 miles of range. Charging access includes Tesla Superchargers, Electrify America sites, and other DC fast-charging networks across North America. The SUV can charge at up to 300 kW on 1000-volt chargers and up to 220 kW at Tesla Supercharger stations using Lucid’s rear-motor voltage-boosting capability.
Performance is handled by a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive system rated at up to 560 horsepower, enabling a 0–60 mph time of 4.0 seconds. Standard air suspension and an optional Dynamic Handling Package are designed to balance ride quality and agility. Exterior options include six colors and wheel sizes from 20 to 23 inches, with Stealth Appearance standard and Platinum Appearance available.
Inside, the Gravity Touring includes a 34-inch curved 6K OLED display, Lucid UX 3.0 software with over-the-air updates, and optional DreamDrive 2 Pro with 32 sensors. Customers can configure vehicles at lucidmotors.com.
Charging Access, Technology Features, and Auto Show Debut
Charging compatibility includes more than 25,000 Tesla Superchargers, thousands of Electrify America connectors, and numerous additional DC fast-charging stations. Lucid’s voltage-boost technology enables fast DC charging across a range of networks.
Lucid says the Gravity Touring inherits the Gravity Grand Touring’s focus on packaging efficiency, software-defined controls, and modular drive units. The model will publicly debut at the 2025 Los Angeles International Auto Show from Nov. 21-30, where the Gravity Touring, Gravity Grand Touring, and Air Sapphire will be featured. Demo drives will be offered on a first-come basis.
