Driving Dynamics' senior driving instructor Carl Cormier will discuss new driver safety technology for fleets at a utility fleet conference Nov. 20.
Cormier is appearing at the IP Utility Safety Conference in Charlotte, N.C. His presentation will be called, "The Brave New World of Technology and Driver Safety: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly." His talk will run from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m.
During the session, Cormier will focus on educating participants about the safety challenges utility fleet drivers face in an era of emerging technologies and how these new tools and systems can help and potentially hurt fleets from a liability perspective, according to the Newark, Del.-based training company.
