The all-new 2026 Ram 1500 Ramcharger combines battery-electric vehicle (BEV) technology and increased performance. The truck offers a targeted driving range of 690 miles and includes necessary towing and payload capacity for fleet demands.
The Ramcharger features a 92 kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack paired with an onboard 130-kW generator, sending power to 250 kW front and 238 kW rear electric drive modules (EDMs), minimizing reliance on public charging infrastructure.
Electric Power and Capability for Fleet Demands
Targeted performance figures include a 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds, 654 hp and over 615 lb.-ft. of torque, up to 14,000 lbs. towing with a class 5 hitch and a best-in-class maximum payload capacity of 2,625 lbs.
Designed on the STLA Frame body-on-frame architecture, the Ramcharger integrates the battery pack while maintaining a durable, high-strength steel frame.

Powering Fleets with Versatility and Efficiency
The 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine generates mechanical power, which is converted to electrical power by the onboard generator. The generator can also increase the power to the motor and gearbox when serious power is needed.
With 400-volt DC fast charging up to 175 kW, the Ramcharger can add up to 5 miles of range per minute. Vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-home bi-directional charging allows the Ramcharger to charge another Stellantis BEV or return power to the grid.
Additional features designed for worksite flexibility:
A 7.2-kW onboard power panel in the truck bed.
A RamBox with a 115-V outlet provides lockable, weatherproof storage with power access.
Ability to power job sites, tailgates, or emergency backup needs.

Driver Assistance and Fleet Connectivity
The 2026 Ram 1500 Ramcharger is equipped with Hands-Free Highway Assist (L2+), providing hands-off driving, lane centering, and adaptive speed control. Additional driver assistance features include:
Autonomous parallel and perpendicular parking assist
Digital key access via smartphone or watch
Advanced Uconnect 5 system with a 14.5-in. touchscreen
A 12.3-in. digital instrument cluster displaying EV-specific data
The 2026 Ram 1500 Ramcharger offers fleet operators an electrified solution without compromising on range, towing capacity, or worksite power. Designed for fleet efficiency and sustainability, it delivers reduced emissions while maintaining the performance and durability expected from a full-size pickup.
