Drive App Update Displays Fleet Chargers For EV Operators
Ford Pro’s latest software update brings new tools for electric fleets, including sleep-state battery alerts, private charger visibility in the Drive App, and enhanced control over driver coaching features.

Ford Pro’s June 2025 platform update introduces new features aimed at improving electric fleet performance, battery oversight and EV infrastructure visibility — all while retaining existing pricing tiers.
Battery Sleep State Event Supports Smarter EV Monitoring
Ford Pro Data Services now includes a sleep state change event that alerts operators when a vehicle enters or exits sleep mode — a battery-preservation state common to parked EVs. Telematics connectivity is paused in this state, and command execution is disabled to reduce drain. Vehicles exit sleep mode automatically once the engine starts or motion is detected. The alert includes a reason code for more precise fleet diagnostics and uptime planning.
Custom Driver Coaching for EV Operation
Fleet managers using Ford Pro Telematics can now adjust in-vehicle coaching thresholds directly within the dashboard — without contacting support. These configurable thresholds allow for vehicle-specific tuning of coaching feedback based on driving behavior, including:
Speeding
Harsh acceleration
Harsh braking
Harsh cornering
Seatbelt unbuckled while driving
Excessive idling
These controls are particularly relevant for EVs, where efficient driving can extend battery range and reduce energy costs.
EV Charger Visibility Now Live in Drive App
Ford Pro Charging customers in the U.S. and Canada can now view private depot and home charging stations within the Ford Pro Drive App. This live map integration provides real-time insight into:
Charger locations
Port availability
Active charging status
Charger specifications
This visibility helps fleet EV drivers better plan charging sessions while minimizing idle time and port congestion, especially in shared depot environments.
Fleet Software Tier Renaming: No Feature Changes
Ford Pro’s fleet management software packages have been renamed, although no pricing or feature reductions were made.
The “Pro” package is now “Professional”
The “Advanced” package is now “Premium”
These tiers continue to support electric fleet workflows, including maintenance scheduling, parts inventory, and bilingual driver app access.
Professional includes:
FleetioGo app (Spanish version)
Workflow automation
Work orders and calendar integration
Inventory and parts tracking
Webhooks for integration
Premium includes all Professional features, plus:
Work order markups
Quoting and invoicing tools
Enhanced warranty tracking
