The all-new Global Fleet Conference Experience in May will join an existing family of 13 virtual experience events. It all takes place on a custom-built virtual events platform tailored to meet the specific needs of multinational fleets.
The event is designed to support the strategic needs of multinational fleets, addressing the unique issues that different regions of the world face, and covering the wide-reaching topics that are applicable to fleets around the globe.
The conference will begin on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 with a fleet market report the top trends in European fleet management by Marc Odinius, managing director for Dataforce GmbH. Following this on the same day will feature a USA fleet market report from Mike Antich, Automotive Fleet Chief Editor and Conference Chair of Global Fleet Conference.
Also part of the lineup will be a market report on the state of the Caribbean fleet market on Thursday, May 6, 2021. This panel will feature Bill Schankel, CEO, NAFA Fleet Management Association; Sudesh Botha, director, GISCAD in Trindad & Tobago; and Desmond Dougall, managing director, GISCAD. After this on the same day will be a panel on EV adoption trends in europe featuring Odinius of Dataforce and Peter Mock, managing director, The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT).
Other market reports later during the month includes a market report on the state of the mexican fleet market, which will feature Rodrigo Monroy, U.S. procurement manager for corporate services, Novartis; Jaime Bringas Garcia, fleet & EHS manager, Philip Morris International; Kevin Kibilds, senior specialist vehicle fleet management, MSD Mexico; and Anitch of Automotive Fleet..
This is followed by a presentation on the latest trends and fleet market conditions in Canada, which will feature: Ryan D'Souza, executive vice president, Jim Pattison Lease; Keith McLaughlin, publisher, Canadian Automotive Fleet Magazine; Jeff Hartley President, LeasePlan, Canada; Hamid Dean, ethics & compliance leader, facilities leader & fleet manager, 3M; and Jon Grant, national fleet manager, G4S Canada.
There will also be a market report on the state of the UK Fleet Market featuring Paul Hollick of the Association of Fleet Professionals; and a session on the best practices in managing vehicle residual values in a globally dispersed fleet.

Later in the year, an in-person Global Fleet Conference event is planned for Oct. 26-28, 2021 in Miami, Fla., organized by Bobit Business Media. It will feature virtual components streamed live from Miami as we produce the industry’s first hybrid event.
