Maxon Lift Donates DMD Railift Liftgate for Mobile Workshop
This interactive mobile workshop was built with education and jobs in mind and create exposure for skilled-based careers that may not have been previously considered in fields such as transportation, construction, and utility.

The Railift Series is ideal for bulk delivery and wheeled cargo with a combination of dock and street delivery.

Maxon Lift Corp. donated a Railift DMD liftgate for use on the “Be Pro, Be Proud, SC” Mobile Workshop Trailer. The “Be Pro, Be Proud SC” custom-designed trailer consists of a 53-foot, double-expandable semi outfitted with a mobile workshop that includes hands-on simulators.
Skills covered include truck driving, forklifts, carpentry, heavy equipment operation (such as liftgates), welding, and more. This interactive mobile workshop was built with education and jobs in mind. The purpose was to create exposure for skilled-based careers that may not have been previously considered in fields such as transportation, construction, and utility. This project was made possible through public and private collaboration.
“We’re excited to take part in such a unique and educational program,” said Brent Stratton, Office of the President. This program will acquaint many with numerous skilled trades and of their importance to our economy and we are pleased to contribute to this learning opportunity."
