Fleet safety and the lifesaving lessons that come along with it don’t have to be boring–in fact, it can even be fun. Or funny, according to Steve Verret.

Verret is proof that fleet safety doesn’t have to be dry, and he’s been proving that for years. As a standup comedian and fleet safety professional, Verret works as a master trainer alongside IMPROV Learning.

At the Fleet Forward Conference, Oct. 21–23 in San Diego, join Verret and other fleet professionals for Fleet Safety: Smart Data, Comedy, and Serious Savings, a learning session held from 2:30 to 3:15.

Steve’s experience is varied and expansive, where he’s performed alongside notable comedic figures such as Adam Sandler, David Spade, Jerry Seinfeld, Matthew Perry, and Robin Williams.

While the way he works a crowd and makes people laugh certainly sets him apart, it’s his combination of humor and education that truly makes him a pioneer for safety.

How Fleet Safety, Education, and Standup Comedy Mix

In conjunction with his standup gigs, Steve began to teach driver safety courses, where he then discovered his niche passion for combining the two. Outside of other media and news, his methods have been featured in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and even People Magazine.

His endeavors to create change have impacted over 500,000 students. Steve’s mission is simple: make safety fun and make it memorable.
