The Prius Prime adds three trim grades, including LE, XLE, and Limited.
An 11.6-inch portrait-style touchscreen is a bright centerpiece in the interior.
A 1.8L four-cylinder gasoline engine is paired with two electric motors to achieve 121 hp.
Seating now accomodates five adults rather than four.
Pricing starts at $28,530, including a $930 delivery charge.
The vehicle went on sale this summer.
A 640-mile range includes 25 all-electric miles.
Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa connectivity is now standard.
