EVs and Auto Tech at the 4th Annual Merchants Fleet Summit [Photos]

Sustainability was front of mind during the 2023 Merchants Fleet Summit. Clients, prospective clients, and partners for Merchants Fleet gathered to discuss technologies available to make fleets more fuel efficient, increase uptime, and find data-driven solutions.

In his keynote address, CEO Brendan P. Keegan shared his formula for endurance within a business: systems, simplicity, innovation, and consistency.

Attendees also had an opportunity to network, check out some of the fleet vehicles managed by Merchants Fleet, and test drive electric vehicles on the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Timothy Hawboldt of Stellantis shared about the automaker's partnership with Merchants Fleet, as well as its EV offerings.

Dan Shive and members of his team from Discount Tire shared a case study on tire abuse, and technology to make tire repair operations more efficient.

A Lion6, Lion Electric's Class 6 commercial truck offering, was available for attendees to see up close.

Attendees kicked off the event with an opening reception that included an EV ride and drive on a racetrack, a first for Merchants Fleet.

ClearCharge is a new mobile EV charging solution using Pioneer e-Mobility's e-Boost product. The charging station, which contains chargers of varying levels, is powered in part by renewable propane. It's being tested by customers.

Attendees got a chance to get take the front seat of an electric vehicle, putting it to the test (going under 85 mph of course) on the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Tim Lampley of Nissan talked about the automaker's offerings for fleets, as well as ADAS technology available in the vehicles.

Sunjay Dodani, Co-Founder and CEO of Revvo, detailed the company's TireIQ product, which allows users to remotely monitor tire health.

Mike Menyhart, CCO at SEA Electric, discussed the company's goal and strategy for eliminating over 3 billion pounds of emissions in the next five years, as well as a recent contract with HINO Trucks.

Fleet Summit attendees finished off the event with an outdoor celebration, complete with dinner, drinks, music, a fire pit, and games.
