For the first time, Ford Pro is allowing dealer demonstrations of the full EV lineup – Lightning, Mach-E, standard and enhanced range E-Transit – exclusively for local and state government customers across the country.

The 2024 Ford Pro Electric Vehicle Dealer Demonstration Program is set up to help continue Ford Pro's focus on educating dealers and customers within the public sector about the benefits of electrification by experiencing first hand with a lower cost and investment barrier. The program is aimed at achieving this by making more demo vehicles available to dealers at a reduced cost to them and incentivizes the promotion of the EV lineup.

"The 2024 Ford Pro Electric Vehicle Dealer Demonstrator Program is a great example of the education we're providing to dealers and government customers," said Nathan Oscarson, Ford Pro sales manager for federal state and local government. "By reducing the cost of demonstrator vehicles available to dealers, we are making it easier for our state and local government customers to drive and experience our full lineup of EVs: the F-150 Lightning, Mustang Mach-E, and the Enhanced Range E-Transit. It's often said that to drive an EV is to love an EV, and this initiative accelerates that discovery."

Program Details:

  • Program forms and detailed process information will be available March 15, 2024.
  • Vehicles can be enrolled in the demonstrator program once they are assigned a VIN.
  • Enrollment is limited to one demonstrator vehicle from each of the 3 eligible EV lines per dealer.

The vehicles eligible for this program are:

  • 2024MY F-150 Lightning
  • 2024MY Mustang Mach-E
  • 2024MY E-Transit (both standard and enhanced range E-Transit variants will be available)

Program enrollment ends on December 6, 2024. There is a minimim mileage requirement of 1,000 miles and a maximum of 5,000 miles. Demonstrator vehicles are eligible for Government Price Concessions when sold to a government agency after completion of demonstrator service.
