The SEA-Drive uses a Lithium-Ion NMC, Nickel Manganese Cobalt battery, which are designed for 3,500 charge cycles, and may result in 10 years useful life.

The onboard charger for the SEA-Drive System in the U.S. is provided through Type 1, Level 2, Single Phase (208/240 VAC) up to 19.2kW. Depending on the SEA-Drive model, charging can take anywhere between four to eight hours.

Vehicles equipped with the SEA-Drive feature a display screen that actively shows battery usage by kilowatt-hour, which fluctuates between how much charge is being used and how much is being gained via the system’s regenerative braking technology.

Zeem Solutions, an e-mobility logistics’ solutions for small, medium and large fleet operators across the U.S., ordered 100 all-electric Hino 195 EVs, which have a range of up to 200 miles.

The SEA Hino 195 EV is powered by the company's SEA-Drive 120a power system, and offers 110 hp continuous power, 170 hp maximum power, and boasts a maximum torque of 1,106 lb.-ft.
