BMW, Ford, Lightning eMotors, and Cenntro have added vehicles to the ride and drive of the inaugural Fleet Forward: The Tour in Atlanta on March 31.

The Fleet Forward: The Tour, an offshoot of the Fleet Forward Conference, is a one-day, regional event where fleet managers can drive EVs and experience other new technologies. The first Tour stop, free for qualified fleet operators, will take place at the Hilton Atlanta Northeast hotel.

Fleet managers will be able to drive and experience the BMW i4 and iX, Ford E-Transit, Cenntro Logistar 400 electric urban delivery vehicle, and Lightning eMotors Ford Transit 350HD Passenger Van.

The Ride and Drive portion of the event, sponsored by Element Fleet Management, will also include the Volvo C40 Recharge and Volvo XC40 Recharge, VW ID.4, Polestar 2, Nissan Leaf, and Nissan Ariya (static). Other models will be announced soon, along with demonstrations and displays.

The day also features seminars, networking opportunities, and lunch.

“Fleet Forward: The Tour will bring the same cutting-edge technologies and thought leadership as the Fleet Forward Conference, but in a compact format,” said Chris Brown, conference chair. “All in one day, fleet managers will be able to get behind the wheel of the latest EV models, interact with product experts, network with peers, and access education to make their fleets more efficient and productive.”

After Atlanta, the Tour stops next in Chicago on June 16 and in Dallas on Sept. 15. The Fleet Forward Conference will return to Silicon Valley Nov. 9-11 at the Santa Clara Marriott.
