In Santa Cruz, California, a PG&E crewman's rig rolled down a steep grade when the road beneath it gave out on Jan. 29. Road conditions have been made more perilous due to recent rainstorms in the area, according to KRON4.

The worker was assessing storm damage in the Aptos Hills when a section of Valencia School Road washed out in heavy rain just after midnight. The driver was treated for minor injuries after his bucket truck rolled several times before coming to a stop about 300 feet down a steep slope.
