The Russellville, Ark., Police Department has finally received 10 2020 Ford Explorer hybrid patrol SUVs they've been waiting on for more than a year and a half due to pandemic related delays, according to Courier News.

Because the department needed the vehicles to be on the street as soon as possible due to an ageing fleet, Police Chief David Ewing agreed not to paint the doors to save time. Normally, the department receives solid black vehicles from the factory and then paint the doors white. The announcement of this procedure change was made via a post on the department's official Facebook page.
